General letting conditions

1) RENTAL
You can book thru the: booking automated process by pressing “Book” button and follow the instruction, thru the booking form in section “contact”, emailing us directly, call us by phone, or you can send us message thru Facebook, Viber, WhatsApp.

2) PAYMENTS
As soon as the holiday-maker/guest receives the confirmation of booking, and would like to confirm the booking , he/she
must pay a deposit equal to 20% of the rental price on time specified in booking process (or otherwise if owner agreed in booking process).
The remaining balance must be paid on a day of arrival directly to the owner/us (Apartments Cvitan (Tiho&Marija)).
After we receive deposit we will confirm booking once more.

3) HOW TO PAY & Book

  • PAY ON ARRIVAL

    Pay total price with cash on arrival. It is not possible in most of the cases. We will reply to you with info is this possible or not.

  • BANK TRANSFER

4) ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Arrival: 13:00 – 18:00 (if you are arriving later, no problem, but please inform us).
After end of arrival day if you didn’t inform us on any way that you will be late, we ( Apartments Cvitan (Tiho&Marija) have the right to consider it canceled.
Departure: until 10:00 (if sooner: no problem, if later: you must consult with the Apartments Cvitan (Tiho&Marija).
Each change of the arrival date and arrival time must be advised with us.

On arrival, the guests must present passport or identity card to the owner or his representative to enable them to proceed with their registration in accordance with Croatian legal requirements.

5) NUMBER OF PERSONS/SUBSTITUTIONS – PETS
The number of persons (adults and children) must not exceed the number of sleeping places except in the case of infants (up to 2 years old).
Only one pet will be admitted per apartment (for more you must consult with the owner).
It is compulsory for the guests to supervise pet brought within the communal areas of the accommodation.

6) ALTERATIONS – CANCELLATION CHARGES
If you wish to cancel a booking, please contact us.
Cancellations made by the guest must be communicated in text form.
Cancellations must be sent from the guest’s email address that was used for reservation.
If Apartments Cvitan (Tiho&Marija) cancel a booking we will refund total amount on our cost.
If you cancel a booking the following penalties must be paid (or otherwise if owner agreed in booking process): If the cancellation is made less than 60 days before the start of the rental period you loose your deposit. If the cancellation is made more than 60 days before the start of the rental period we will return your deposit reduced by 10% but minimum 12 eur (example: deposit was 100 €, you receive 88 €; example: if deposit was 16 €, you will receive 4 €; example: deposit was 120 €, you receive 108 €; example: deposit was 200 €, you receive 180 €). This is due transfer and cancellation costs we have with our online payment systems.

Please, always contact us in case of cancellation and we may consider other options rather than penalties. Maybe you will have some suggestion.

7) HOUSE RULES
No parties or events.
Please respect the space like it is your own.
We are very easy-going, please, just respect other guests.
If we think that you are braking house rules repeatedly, and after warnings you are not behaving fairly, we have the right to cancel your booking with no penalties for us.

8) PRIVACY
Protecting your personal data is very important to us. As far as we collect, process or use personal information about you as part of the services provided, we do so in accordance with the relevant European data protection laws.
